July 29 SnowlidayJust got back from a terrific snow experience at Mount Buller. With body aching from top to toe, sprains and blisters, it's still a fantastic trip with lots to share. However, pictures and story later... July 21 Time Flies2 months gone and that was quick. Stopped blogging again when I was getting prepared and all excited bout you coming all the way here to visit me for weekssss. Indeed, that was many, many, many weeks but well, whenever there's a great time, the clock ticks faster than we can ever imagine. and then, inevitably, it is time to leave again and what's left are just great memories and moments we wish we could freeze the time and hope that it will stay still for all time. Looking back at the pictures... the shopping sprees we had, our very own rice cooker tom yam seafood, the gyu tan don frenzy, the awesome pancake parlour brunch, those moments we stared at the computers side by side, all the wonderful dinners and lunchboxes experience thrilled with the addition of melbourne wind, and what a japanese series which i can't believe i watched it, great & bad movies with heaps of salted popcorn and great companion, plus the smile on your face when a dozen of krispy kreme showed up, that anticipation and the knowing that you'll be right there when i return from work everyday, your fashion show after a good hunt outthere, those moments of nothing at all... There are just countless of these that can be described, all the different snapshots of our life in melbourne was so unreal sometimes. But now, what's left is that fraction of seconds that flashes back all the time which we could smile over it. True, time won't stop for us. But hey, isn't that a good news? That's how we grow, how we become stronger and that is what gave us hope and excitement, and the anticipation that keeps us going, and try harder. Soon, it will all return to us again, only to be better each time. For now, I'll hold on to the soon depleting supply of lovely peanut butter cookies and all the warmy clothing you bought and left behind for me :) May 22 PlagiarismGreat, I'm missing in action again. With 3 weeks straight working overtime even on weekends, I'm exhausted but satisfied with the amount of work done. Anyway, it's very much similar to my uni life which we used to working in a studio environment, work throughout the night, music, chats.... fun and tired. So, that explains my half dead, erm, actually dead blog. I guess i'm just not a good blogger. heheehhe. But, but, but... to my surprise, I'm amazed that there's someone out there that actually 'appreciate' my entry so much that he/she decided to just copy and paste it over to his/her blog and make it their own entry, minus the credits to me, and word by word from beginning till the end except for some personal things i blogged. I'm impressed for 2 things, first is to find my nonsense entry as something valuable, second is the bravery for plagiarising, in fact 'photostat', someone else's work as a whole. While I've seen so many copied work here n there, this is by far the best! I should perhaps Kow-Tow to the blog owner! and give a big applause to his/her boldness. Anyway, I'm not bothered. They're just some very original nonsense of mine that was copied. If it's my actual work, I won't be resting my ass and laughing in front my screen....
and a new joke in the office: Hi Wei! (Highway) *credits to Tom. April 20 ObsessionI've spent weeks searching for the right folders to replace my old ones as they ain't enough for my growing documentation system anymore. and finally... smiggle it is. nice, cheap and minimalistic. Haven't use them yet but I'm already thinking of adding my personal touch on it with a folder tag... Looks like my design juices are oozing out and begin to invade my life; an after effect of completing architectural studies. Haha, coz these juices got no place to go anymore since I have no studio submission. and this is my kitchen add-on. and yeah, there's a thing with me & black. Don't know why. Somehow, I feel like I should go into product design. Haha, wrong course ady.... But after all, they're all within the scope of design. So, why not since Foster does that in his practice, and Hadid & Grimshaw have their very own lighting design :o and ever since I'm working and got exposed to urban planning, I have interest in that as well. Gosh, I'm so into design. Soon, I'll be a jack of all trade, but I don't want to be the best of none. and yet I'm greedy, and thirst for more design. 'So how? Die lo.' * 'So how? Die lo.' is one of my lecturer's favourite quote. ahh, it's just so timeless. Vortexx Chandelier made of acrylic & fibreglass lighted with LED from Zumtobel by Zaha Hadid, a famous architect okay. k, point proven. let's do it. FYI, that chandelier is about 150k euro according to a Zumtobel representative that presented their products last week at my workplace.
April 11 SnailHahahahha, I guess I'm just too lazy to blog.. the gap between my entries are so so big if compared with Ee Von's! Bahh, anyone can cure my snail syndrome? Just a random thing. I discovered that I have some sort of short term memory lost. I just bought some vege today and now I can't recall the name of the vege! I know I knew it, but it just.. gone.. And today as well, I can't recall one of my colleague's name, even now i'm still struggling with it. Although I don't need her name now, it just frustrates me that I can forget things lithat. This is not first time wei, it always happens... help I love manglish, so low standard hahahhahaha. |
